Our client are seeking a Project Surveyor, they're undertaking a large refurbishment of a commercial office building into 175 flats in West London and are seeking a Project Surveyor to run the commercial side of this job.Â
The Project Surveyor would need good experience in Residential projects, D&B, varied procurement practices and refurbishment/conversion knowledge.Â
Whilst the preparation work is being undertaken ahead of the main construction work, the Project Surveyor would need to be responsible commercially from site. This will be a site based position and the ideal candidate should be comfortable in that environment as part of the delivery project team.
It will be a fast paced environment with experience of similar size projects essential, prospective candidates must be able to demonstrate past knowledge of projects above £20m and ideally high rise residential BTR schemes.Â
Surveying responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-Â
- Understanding the risks and opportunities in such schemes.
- Ability to provide accurate cash flows.
- Sub-Contract Procurement including open protocol techniques.
-Â Placement of Sub-Contract Orders.
- Management of Sub-Contractors.
- Appropriate Sub-Contractor Payment Notifications.

Issue Contractual Notices, Preliminaries Analyses and undertake Monthly CVR preparation.
Package would be looking between £75k-£90k dependent upon experience.Â
