About the Role:
4Site are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a client-side consultancy, working closely with prestigious clients on luxurious and bespoke properties, overseeing all financial aspects to ensure the delivery of exceptional quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets and provide accurate cost advice to clients.
- Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and cost control throughout all project stages.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Administer contracts, assess variations, and manage final accounts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to financial parameters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to high-end residential or luxury projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT).
- Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS or working towards chartership) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including cost management systems.
