My client, a forward-thinking construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their established London team.
About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor specialising in healthcare, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cost management services on a diverse portfolio of healthcare facilities across London and the surrounding areas. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that make a tangible difference to healthcare provision across the capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate cost planning, procurement advice and post-contract cost management
- Work closely with NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers
- Prepare tender and contract documentation
- Manage valuations, variations and final accounts
- Liaise with project teams including architects, engineers and contractors
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
The Ideal Candidate
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or working towards this qualification
- Demonstrable experience working on healthcare projects
- Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
