Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential developer on a large-scale, high-rise RC frame residential development comprising 400 units. The role will involve overseeing the procurement of key construction packages, including flooring, tiling, and screed.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:
Manage the procurement process for key packages, including flooring, tiling, and screed. Ensure that all procurement activities are in line with the project requirements and budget.

Subcontractor Coordination:
Assist in the selection, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors for specified packages. Monitor performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and timelines.

Valuations and Invoices:
Process subcontractor valuations and invoices for the aforementioned packages. Ensure that all payments are accurate, on time, and in accordance with the contract terms.

Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports on procurement, valuation processing, and cost management to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential developments (preferably high-rise or RC frame).
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, subcontractor management, and cost control.
  • Experience in managing and processing subcontractor valuations and invoices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
