Quantity Surveyor High End Residential London

A leading building and refurbishment contractor that specialises in high-end residential projects in London is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The Quantity Surveyor will help manage a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments in London. The company has an impressive pipeline of work and is offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent support and progression.

It's a hybrid role, office is based in Central London you can work from home but are required for client and business meetings.

The company

The company specialise in prime residential refurbishments have recently experienced an influx of new projects. They have a turnover of £5 million the company have a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional standard of work and have just secured over £14 million work of work.

This is mixed between prime residential refurbishments and bespoke one of new builds - All in London.

Quantity surveyor Role

The role is unique as you'd be coming in towards the top as QS / commercial director / ops / right have individual for one of the directors.

They'll be elements of having to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in but also operating at a high level to drive the business forward.

This means there's a pathway to directorship, opportunities to work with those at the top of this business and create your team, your way.

Projects range from £1 million to £8 million.

Some responsibilities include -

  • Cost Reporting
  • Tender and contract documents
  • CVR's
  • Bills of Quants
  • Attend professional and client meetings
  • Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedule
  • Mitigate commercial risks

The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

  • 5 years + Experience
  • Ideally you will have experience of High End Resi / Prime / Super prime property.
  • Experience of working for a main contractor
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team Management
  • QS Degree
