We have an immediate requirement for a New-Build Quantity Surveyor.

Qualified Quantity Surveyor with a Minimum of 4years experience in a commercial capacity, working in the Social housing sector as a principal and/or Main contractor across new build schemes
Knowledge of Modern Methods of Construction
Experience working with typical Pricing agreements & Frameworks
Experience Measuring Works, Generating and Agreeing applications.
Experience Reviewing, Validating, and approving subcontractor quotations & variations
Experience managing supply chain Partners.
Experience in financial reporting and data analysis
Strong numeracy and financial management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary.
IT skills including advanced Excel and Word are essential.
Experience in Generating and delivering Monthly CVR Reviews

Main Duties:

Prepare a monthly CVR by work stream demonstrating the commercial and financial position of the contract by work stream, and elements within work stream.
Monitor All Direct Costs & Overheads and assist in the managing of these costs to ensure profitability is maintained.
Ensure all Monthly applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms.
Procure & Fully On-board subcontractors.
Regularly check and value subcontractors work, agree valuations and produce payment certificates, in accordance with sub-contract conditions.
To attend contract meetings, produce any specific information required for these meetings.
To assist site and project managers in the identification and recording of variations.
Ensure site and project managers are briefed on what is required for variations to be paid against.
