Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our London Commercial Team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering our current commitments and shaping our future strategy, leaving a lasting impact on the organisation.



Day-to-day of the role:

  • Establish and manage commercial processes and procedures to protect revenue.
  • Drive the delivery of contractual obligations and governance throughout the project lifecycle, managing commercial risk to the business.
  • Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of potential decisions.
  • Provide guidance on conflict avoidance, management, and resolution, including compiling evidence in the debt resolution process.
  • Manage projects at all stages, from advising on pre-contract negotiations to change management and final account agreement.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience working on complex projects with values up to 10 million.
  • Experience working on contractual claims and change management
  • Worked on loss & expenses, EoT, VOs etc.
  • Experience within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
  • Quick thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Resilience and proactivity in meeting company commitments.
