Permanent Position

TRS are working with a leading infrastructure provider who work on a number of UK and European construction projects, they are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London on a permanent basis.

The position is paying between 50,000 to 60,000 Per Annum depending on your experience, it comes with a Healthcare Scheme as well as 24 Days holiday that increases with length of service.

About you

  • You will have experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civils and Utilities sectors.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Accredited by (RICS) and or (CIOB)
  • You will have strong environmental, contractual and environmental awareness.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety tasks which include:

  • Pricing of change orders and dealing with subcontractor orders and general paperwork.
  • Measuring client design drawings with a key focus on earthworks, underground services
  • Managing companies cost ledger in respect of a Joint Venture arrangement.
  • Procurement of materials including Pumps, chambers, pipework etc.
  • Maintain and develop long term relationships with key clients and increase the possibility of repeated business.
