Quantity Surveyor
This leading main contractor has an immediate need for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a new £50m student accommodation scheme in Kings Cross, London.
Your freelance contract will be for a minimum period of 8 months however, this is likely to be extended due to the increased workload. It would be advantageous to have been the Quantity Surveyor on at least one student accommodation project or other education contracts for other main contractors.
The project consists of the refurbishment of existing halls of residence and two new blocks of accommodation and associated facilities totalling £50m.
Your initial duties will be procurement and will grow into the management of subcontractor accounts, pricing variations and general commercial management of a group of packages for the project.
You will have the benefit of working alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and be based on site in London full time.
