Are you a Quantity Surveyor with experience in heavy civils and subcontract management? We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to join a dynamic team working on an exciting civil engineering project based in West London. If you're looking for a role where you'll manage small packages, oversee subcontractors, and have the flexibility of hybrid working, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Package Management: Oversee and manage small civil engineering packages, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, manage their performance, and handle day-to-day queries, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Cost Control: Assist in cost planning and monitoring, ensuring the project stays on budget and within agreed financial parameters.
  • Procurement Support: Assist with procurement processes, including preparing tender documents and managing the selection of subcontractors.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure that contract terms are adhered to, managing any necessary variations and claims.
  • Reporting: Regularly update senior management on project progress, budgets, and any potential risks or issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong background in subcontract management and package oversight
  • Excellent understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred but not essential).
