We have been assigned to resource a Quantity Surveyor for this specialist contractor that solely work in this sector.

Salary between 75,000 - 83,000 (negotiable)

This is a small business, with c4m turnover and projects ranging in value from 100,000 - 4m. Their work is high, high-end.

They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) / Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to essentially lead the commercial role within the business. The role in simple terms is to help develop the assistant QS and manage the commercial processes of the business.

The role will involve:
Submitting valuations within the agreed contract time period for projects.
Creating and issuing variations
Helping the assistant QS with timely procurement of sub-contractors and materials.
Helping the QS maintain efficient purchase order system.
Compiling CVRs and reporting to directors.
Ensuring margins are meet through proactive engagement with the wider team.
Building relationships with new clients and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
Reviewing client contracts and changing T&Cs so they are more favourable.
Issuing, logging and chasing invoices for payment.

Previous Experience:
This would favour someone who has worked within the super-prime residential sector, or a Quantity Surveyor contractor from a main contractor background that has had some exposure to landscaping packages (as most should at some point).
