Key Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:
- Delivering projects from inception to completion.
- Providing cost advice and management across various project types.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide cost planning and estimation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce estimates and conduct budget reviews across various sectors.
- Collect and analyse data to define client and stakeholder needs.
- Create Analysis and Benchmarking Reports to promote value for money.
- Champion innovation both within our organisation and on the client side.
- Lead and support the development of tools that integrate data and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:
- Strong PQS background with relevant industry qualifications.
- Experience working on commercial projects.
- Ideally 4-5+ years of post-graduation experience in quantity surveying.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Time management skills.
- Commercial awareness.
- Pre and post contract experience.
- Chartered member of RICS or working towards it.
