Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading social housing contractor in the London area that are looking for a brand new Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a flexible remote basis. This full-time position allows you to work from home five days a week, with occasional travel to the London-based office for meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
  • Manage and track project costs, ensuring that expenses stay within the allocated budget.
  • Conduct site visits as required, assessing project progress and costs.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure effective cost control and delivery.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contracts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the social housing industry with repairs background.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to the London office on an as-needed basis
