Quantity Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity for an Quantity Surveyor to work on a 30m Industrial project with a Tier 1 Main contractor who are dominating the London Construction market.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years and have requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work as the no 2 on a 30m industrial project under NEC contract. You will be working as part of a commercial team on site managing the subcontractor packages form procurement, feeding in to CVRS and working closely with the senior to ensure the commercial success of the project. The project will be starting on site beginning of Q4 and runs for approx 18 months. This is a full time site based position.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor or ground works background, and be competent in managing the downstream and have strong commercial acumen. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Minimum of 5 years experience with another main contractor or ground works specialist contractor
• NEC experience preferred
• Industrial / Steel frame experience preferred
