We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. You will be responsible for providing expert cost management and commercial advice on a variety of projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with high-profile clients and contribute to the successful delivery of challenging and rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities of your role will include:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Managing project finances and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting risk, value management, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Advising on contractual and procurement strategies.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure projects meet financial objectives.
- Preparing and presenting detailed progress and financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The ideal applicant will fulfil the below requirements:
- RICS Chartered Surveyor or actively working towards RICS Chartership (APC Pathway).
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or property sectors. Ideally experienced in working for a Consultancy, though not essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, MS Excel).
The successful applicant can expect to receive:
