Description
- Manage all aspects of costing and budgeting in construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and set benchmarks for project costs.
- Prepare and negotiate contract terms with external contractors.
- Ensure materials and works are procured at competitive prices.
- Monitor project progress and keep stakeholders informed of the status.
- Assess and manage risk in the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Profile
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction procurement and contract management.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control for construction projects.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
Job Offer
- An attractive salary package in the range of £55,000 - £65,500 plus a £5,500 car allowance.
