We are seeking an astute Quantity Surveyor with a keen eye for detail to join our construction department. This individual will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of construction projects, ensuring minimal costs are incurred while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Description

  • Manage and plan all costs associated with construction projects, from conception to completion.
  • Conduct cost analysis and draw up detailed financial reports.
  • Negotiate contracts and tenders to ensure maximum value for money.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making sure all costs stay within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other construction professionals.
  • Value completed work and ensure timely payments.
  • Minimise the costs of a project while enhancing value for money, without compromising quality.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations within the construction industry.

Profile

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Ideally RICs qualified
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its legal regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
