About the opportunity:
We are seeking an individual perform the following:
- Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
- Manage procurement activities, including selecting subcontractors, preparing trade packages, and coordinating tendering processes.
- Negotiate and oversee subcontractor contracts, handling payments, variations, and final accounts.
- Collaborate with the Technical team and design consultants to develop cost-efficient solutions and implement value engineering strategies.
- Prepare and update financial reports, cost forecasts, and procurement schedules to support successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Project Managers, Technical Managers, and the Commercial team, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure adherence to contractual agreements, company policies, and sustainability goals.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to 60k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Background in construction, engineering, or architecture with technical expertise in at least one field.
- Passion for design, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to bring creative solutions and fresh perspectives to the table.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- CSCS card or equivalent (desirable).
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in IT and adaptable to new systems.
