About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will join a residential developer who are recently established in the UK but have an international turnover of 4.5 billion with work in Italy, Australia, and Taiwan . They currently have 2 live sites with a total of 36 units. These projects are fast moving with a completion date towards the end of 2025. The company are acquiring land across London, such as Mayfair, and are looking to add a permanent full time Quantity Surveyor to the team who will be working on traditional build and RC frame projects.
This is an interesting and exciting opportunity for an open-minded individual who would like to work at a start-up who has strong financial backing with certainty to become an integral part of the team as the company grows in the UK.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
- Liaising with the team to ensure the commercial success of the projects from tender and procurement to final accounts
- Adhering to contractual requirements
- Assist the team in managing risks and resolving disputes
- Monitor costs throughout the projects life-cycle to ensure it stays within budget
Key Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in a construction related subject
- MUST be RICS Chartered
- MINIMUM 5 years experience ideally at a developer
- Be willing to travel to sites outside of London for the next 9 months
