About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining an interior design & build Main Contractor who have a strong 5-year plan in place. They have been involved in the construction of over 3000 offices in and around London, and are looking for someone with ambition to join their team to grow with them. They have a great career path for progression and give you a chance to co-ordinate with other teams. You will be reporting into the Managing Director whilst visiting site to discuss projects in more depth.

Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:

  • Effectively collaborate with clients, understanding their unique requirements, and work to develop tailored solutions that align with their vision.
  • Assess contractors' tender submissions to determine the best fit for each project
  • Produce cost breakdown using Excel
  • Complete site surveys to ensure accurate costings and mitigate risks

Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:

  • Ideally Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
  • Experience in dealing with construction contracts and project financial management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Live within commutable distance to London
