Salary: £60,000-£66,000 + Benefits

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of financial management across a range of construction projects—working closely with project teams and senior leadership to ensure commercial success, manage costs effectively, and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial aspects of projects to ensure profitability and contractual compliance.

Prepare monthly valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting.

Oversee cash flow forecasts, project retentions, and subcontractor procurement.

Lead on change control and contractual notice processes.

Collaborate with internal departments (Estimating, Pre-Construction, Design, Operations).

Maintain and analyse cost/value reconciliations and forecast reports.

Prepare and manage subcontractor accounts, tender allowances, and procurement packages.

Ensure documentation, project files, and records are consistently up to date.
What We’re Looking For:

Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial field.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (full QS level).

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT).

Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management platforms.

Confident communicator and strong collaborator with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
