About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of Tier 1 Main Contractor on a project in East London. The project is a high-rise residential project valued around 50m. They are a family-owned international construction company looking for a hard-working Quantity Surveyor to assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor on all commercial opportunities
- Looking after Subcontractor packages and managing the whole downstream process
- Liaising with customers and third parties on all commercial matter
- Negotiating contracts and writing reports detailing costs resulting in your ability to give advice to the team
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience at a Main Contractor on residential projects
- Degree in a construction related subject is ideal but not essential
- Live within commutable distance to East London
