Bennett & Game are proud to represent a forward-thinking construction and property consultancy who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team, based from the London office. With a modern approach, this consultancy provides a plethora of services including project management, Building Surveying and Quantity Surveying, to name a few, to a range of both private and public sector clients. They currently have over 45 staff, spread across their five offices across the south. Operational sectors include but are by no means limited to; residential, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure & Hospitality and Education.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team working across a range of sectors including residential, education, commercial and heritage. Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Draft and administer contracts ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct risk and value assessments.
  • Negotiate tenders and contracts effectively.
  • Carry out feasibility studies for projects.
  • Manage and agree final accounts promptly.
  • Prepare clear and accurate project reports.
  • Perform detailed tender analysis.
  • Develop accurate cost plans and budgets.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent in a construction related field
  • A full UK Driver's License and willingness to travel to site when required
  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy, main contractor or a façade / cladding sub-contractor environment
  • Open to an Assistant level candidate seeking a step up
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
