Your new companyA leader within the UK construction market, offering bespoke joinery solutions for commercial, residential, and specialist projects. They are a fast-growing joinery and interior fit-out company looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They are involved in high-end joinery projects up to the value of £15m in some of the capital's most exciting and interesting fit out projects.Your new roleBased out of the London office, this role is an excellent opportunity for a switched-on individual with strong IT skills. You will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator, and able to demonstrate an astute attention to detail. A logical approach to work and excellent time management skills are essential. Experience in a similar industry is preferred but not essential.Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Divisional Project Directors, Project Managers, and Project Teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, in-house teams, and subcontractors.
  • Manage cost control, project management, and internal cost reporting.
  • Submit monthly valuations and produce cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent numeracy skills and IT competencies, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Practical knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and commercial awareness.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
  • Ability to understand the financial implications of decisions and their impact on company value.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, as we do not currently hold a sponsorship visa license.
