Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving and dynamic organisation specialising in structural steel projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of quantity surveying for structural steel projects, including tendering, budgeting, and final accounts.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs, ensure value for money, and manage budgets effectively to maximise profitability.
- Conduct site visits to measure and value works completed.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to provide cost advice and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify and manage project risks, including resolving disputes and handling claims.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the structural steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
