We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile highways and infrastructure projects that make a tangible difference to communities by improving accessibility, sustainability, and public spaces.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Quantity Surveyor, you will have excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
- Undertake detailed cost analysis for various work packages.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
- Assess, negotiate, and manage subcontractor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Provide regular financial reports and cost updates to stakeholders.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency.
About you
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Some essentials included below:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in highways, pavements, cycleways, or public realm projects.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).
- Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
