The role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile highways and infrastructure projects that make a tangible difference to communities by improving accessibility, sustainability, and public spaces.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Quantity Surveyor, you will have excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
  • Undertake detailed cost analysis for various work packages.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
  • Assess, negotiate, and manage subcontractor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Provide regular financial reports and cost updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency.

About you

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in highways, pavements, cycleways, or public realm projects.
