We are looking for an Experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a construction firm specializing in high-end residential refurbishments across Central London
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for high-end refurbishment projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess project budgets from design to completion.
- Manage and control project costs, ensuring value for money without compromising quality.
- Produce tender documentation and evaluate tenders for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor project progress and costs to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Assist in the preparation of valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
- Provide advice on contractual matters and assist with dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with the project team, architects, and clients to ensure the smooth delivery of high-end refurbishments.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with experience in high-end residential refurbishments.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, pricing, and market trends.
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of work.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (MRICS status desirable, but not essential).
- Experience using industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, etc.).
