About the role of Quantity Surveyor

You will be a key part of the commercial team, managing cost control, procurement, and contractual agreements for large-scale substation and power projects. With a hybrid working setup, you will have the flexibility to balance time between site, office, and remote work while ensuring financial efficiency across the projects.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:

  • Oversee the commercial management of substation and power projects.
  • Prepare and manage valuations, cost forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support subcontractor procurement and account management.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and manage financial risks.
  • Track project costs and variations, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to maintain financial control.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience in the power, energy, or infrastructure sector, ideally in substations.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and cost control.
  • Ability to manage multiple commercial processes effectively.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Excel and cost management tools.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
