The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of a prestigious £28 million super-prime refurbishment in Mayfair. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established super-prime contractor, working on one of Londons most exclusive projects.
Key Responsibilities
Take full commercial control of the £28m super-prime scheme, ensuring cost efficiency and financial success.
Work closely with the Commercial Director, providing regular reports and commercial strategy input.
Manage and mentor a Project and Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ensuring their professional development.
Oversee procurement, contract management, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Ensure financial forecasting, cash flow, and cost reporting are meticulously maintained.
Liaise with clients, architects, designers, and specialist subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality standards.
Handle complex structural elements, ensuring cost control and risk mitigation.
Operate from the companys HQ in SW1, with regular site visits to Mayfair.
Requirements
Extensive experience in the super-prime residential sector, ideally on projects £20m+.
Proven ability to manage high-value projects with complex structural and finishing elements.
Strong contractual knowledge (JCT, bespoke contracts) and excellent negotiation skills.
Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident in client-facing roles.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with senior leadership.
Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
