Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high-end, luxury construction? We’re partnering with a prestigious stonework contractor renowned for delivering top-tier projects across London. They’re looking to add a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team to manage and oversee financials on bespoke, high-profile projects.
The Role:
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for the commercial management of high-end stonework installations on luxury residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure budgets are met, costs are controlled, and financial reports are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project finances from initiation through to final account
- Preparing cost estimates and budgets, as well as procurement schedules
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and oversee financial aspects
- Managing contracts, negotiating terms, and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Providing detailed financial reports and updates to senior management
- Identifying and managing potential financial risks throughout project lifecycles
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within high-end fit outs or stonework projects.
- Strong understanding of high-spec construction processes and finishes
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) preferred.
