  • We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Tier 1 client due to increased workload in the commercial division.
  • The role involves monthly accounting, contract management, and liaising with stakeholders on project costs and variations.
  • Candidates should have experience in infrastructure, particularly in Rail, highways, Water, or construction works, and must be highly experienced in NEC forms of contract.
  • The position offers a hybrid work model with a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Due to continued workload and requirement for further support within the commercial division, we are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our Tier 1 client; 

Duties and experience to include; 

  • Production of monthly accounting, costing, contract management.
  • Briefing the relevant parties on bill of quantities, specification and contractual implications of ongoing and new projects
  • Liaison with various stakeholders regarding ongoing costs, current position and variations in contracts

  • Raising any variation orders or claims as appropriate.
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager in the preparation of tender enquiries
  • The development of new and follow-up business including the provision of quotes on minor works.
  • Sub contractor management 
  • Producing clear and concise calculations and measurements.
  • Preparation and delivery of monthly reports and key performance indicators

  • Highly experienced in NEC forms of contract

  • Potential to engage with line management duties

 

Experience within infrastructure, preferably within Rail, highways, Water or construction works ideal.

This position is on a hybrid basis on a 3/2 split (3 in the office, 2 from home)
