A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy are looking to add a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to their supportive team, based in Surrey but have offices Nationwide.

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

You will be joining a medium-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work for the next year. You would be joining a social and supportive team of 15 individuals in Surrey.

As a company they cover a range of projects including Commercial, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, Heritage, Hotel, Residential, Retail and Industrial. But in their Surrey office, most of their projects are in the Healthcare Sector and you will be running projects from 1M - 100M.

You will come in and take responsibility on leading projects and developing junior staff, with a progression pathway in sight, within the company.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will need to produce cost plans, advise on cost options, produce tender documents, contract administration and Employer's Agent service and negotiate and agree interim valuations, variations and final accounts.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
  • Ideally experience working on Healthcare projects
  • MRICS or currently working towards
  • Experience within a private practice / consultancy
  • Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
  • Excellent attitude and team player
  • Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
