This position is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, which entails managing all costs relating to property construction projects. The successful candidate will be expected to maximise the project margin and add value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.

Description

  • Oversee financial KPIs and manage project budget throughout the course of the project.
  • Conduct risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Manage contracts and liaise with a variety of stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and other professional staff.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment and other documents.
  • Negotiate and advise on property construction contracts and tenders.
  • Apply effective procurement and supply chain management.
  • Implement cost control and enhancement strategies.
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote team performance within the department.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procurement, contract negotiation, risk management, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent skills in negotiation and communication.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing a team for property construction projects.
