This well-established construction consultancy firm is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in London. Duties of the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
- Provide support to other Surveyors on team in delivering services of team projects.
- Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
- Ensures projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
- Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
- Be an interface with clients and design team members on specific projects.
- Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Provide full Cost Management duties to clients on allocated projects.
- Participate in non-project related team activities and tasks; QA, office management, business development, H&S.
Requirements of the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Ideally 5 years + experience as a quantity surveyor.
- Ideally have a degree in Quantity surveying.
- MRICS qualified.
- Good pre-contract as well as construction delivery experience is essential.
- Preferably experience in a construction consultancy environment.
- Report writing skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Proven track record at the appropriate level.
- Commercial experience.
- Knowledge of the JCT contracts.
