Your new companyA design and build contractor based in London, the company has a wealth of experience across multiple sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial, and hospitality. They are committed to delivering complex projects safely and on schedule and have a number of projects in the pipeline as well as repeat business clients. Most of their work is based in central London and the West End.
Your new roleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of managing a diverse range of projects, including refurbishments, fit out, structural alterations, cut and carve, re-cladding, and new builds. These projects are complex and typical range in value from £10m to £20m. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of these high-profile projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar field.
- Proven experience of estimating and producing tenders.
- Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
- Proficiency in take-offs and knowledge of contracts and variations.
- Enjoy hands-on project management.
- Excellent communication skills and seek responsibility.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to be involved in all aspects of the project.
- Proven experience on similar projects
- Good stability on your CV working at main or subcontractors in a senior position.
