Looking for a driven and meticulous Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our highly-respected property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures and will have experience of working in with a Joint Venture and liaising with Key stake holders.

Description

  • Manage all construction project costs, from initial calculations to final figures.
  • Identify and respond to commercial risks within projects.
  • RC Frame project knowledge
  • Liaise with construction workers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and analyse tenders for contracts.
  • Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
  • Assess and manage subcontractor claims for payment.
  • Record, monitor and review financial information related to projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • The ability to negotiate effectively and handle financial data.
