Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a new residential scheme in North London.

About the Role:In this position, you will oversee a large, RC Frame development of 4 blocks, ensuring that every detail is managed with precision from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and contractors to ensure cost-effective planning and execution of our developments.
  • Procure packages from groundworks through to fit out.
  • Utilise skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management to drive project success and profitability.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of project specifications, materials, and labor costs to provide accurate forecasts and comprehensive reports.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying potential cost overruns and implementing effective solutions.
  • Manage junior members of the team

What you need:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a residential contractor/developer background working on schemes of £50m in value.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel, and project management systems.
  • A results-driven mindset, paired with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
