About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our prestigious private consultancy in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead on high-profile projects, mentor junior team members, and work closely with clients to deliver outstanding cost management and project consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of cost consultancy services on multiple projects.
  • Develop detailed cost plans, feasibility studies, and value engineering assessments.
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
  • Conduct risk analysis and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee financial performance, monitor budgets, and control project costs.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects across various sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and develop client relationships.
  • Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO, or similar).
  • Results-driven with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
