About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our prestigious private consultancy in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead on high-profile projects, mentor junior team members, and work closely with clients to deliver outstanding cost management and project consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of cost consultancy services on multiple projects.
- Develop detailed cost plans, feasibility studies, and value engineering assessments.
- Prepare and manage tender documentation, procurement strategies, and contract administration.
- Conduct risk analysis and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Oversee financial performance, monitor budgets, and control project costs.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.
- Proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects across various sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage teams and develop client relationships.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, CATO, or similar).
- Results-driven with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
