Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: West London
Salary: 80,000 to 100,000 + package

My client is a leading main contractor, recognised for building large-scale RC Frame residential projects and high specification offices across London. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead role on a 200m new build project in West London.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the day to day management of a small team of site based Quantity Surveyors. The project includes construction of a number of blocks including a 30 storey landmark tower which, once complete, will be one of the tallest buildings in the borough.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Oversee all commercial aspects of the project from inception to completion.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract management, and payment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to achieve programme milestones and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, working within the framework of NEC or JCT contracts.


Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience as a Senior QS or Commercial Lead on large RC frame residential projects for a UK based main contractor. You'll also need exceptional commercial acumen, leadership skills and the ability to manage large, complex and high value construction projects.
