Our client, a leading construction consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis in London. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including the House of Parliament.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying on site
  • Administering NEC contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual terms
  • Carrying out post-contract activities such as CVR/reporting and change control
  • Handling contract administration and maintaining accurate records
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors
  • Delivering accurate and timely cost reports and forecasts
  • Ensuring effective change management processes are in place
  • Utilising Excel to analyse and manage financial data


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with NEC contracts
  • Proven track record of managing post-contract activities, including CVR/reporting
  • Proficiency in contract administration and change control processes
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel for financial management
  • Confidence in handling high-profile projects with precision and professionalism
