The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take the lead on a diverse portfolio, from pre-contract cost planning, budgeting, and tender preparation to post-contract financial management and client engagement, this role is hands-on and rewarding.

- Façade
- Commercial
Operating out of five strategic offices nationwide, the London office has a commercial team of three within a growing firm of 27. Here, you'll have the opportunity to shape the QS department, mentor junior staff, and work closely with clients to deliver outstanding results.
This position offers a front-row seat to career progression as the firm prepares for a major growth phase, including a move to larger, modern offices. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the chance to lead complex projects, influence the direction of the QS department, and mentor junior team members, all within a culture that supports continued professional development towards qualifications such as MRICS.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor - Requirements
This role is perfect for a driven Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a senior role or a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a clear path to the next level. You will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally RICS-accredited (MSc or BSc)
- A strong Quantity Surveying background within a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
- Pre- and post-contract expertise, particularly in the built environment.
- Client-facing confidence and leadership skills.
- MRICS or commitment to achieving it is desirable.
