We’re representing a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor in London, renowned for delivering high-spec projects across the hospitality, leisure, and commercial sectors. As their portfolio grows, they’re looking for a confident and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused QS looking to step into a senior role with clear progression and exposure to exciting, design-led projects.

The RoleYou’ll take the lead on multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring commercial success from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, you’ll play a key role in cost planning, procurement, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the commercial process on high-end fit-out projects
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender packages
• Lead procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages
• Monitor project variations, valuations, and cash flow
• Produce accurate and timely reports for senior leadership
• Support junior QS team members and contribute to commercial strategy

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years’ experience in quantity surveying, with a background in fit-out and refurbishment
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts, procurement, and cost control
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficient in measurement and cost management software
• Experience working on hospitality or commercial fit-outs is highly desirable
• Based in or happy to commute to London
