About the role of Trainee Quantity Surveyor:
As Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a 80m Commercial Office shell and core CAT A Fit Out Project based near Mayfair. This is a 2-stage tender, cut and carve project with the second stage commencing at the end of February. You will be working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor who have a turnover of over 1bn and constantly have interesting projects due to them winning the majority of projects in London. They are dominating the London construction market and have a proven track record of progressing staff through the ranks.
Key Responsibilities of Trainee Quantity Surveyor:
- Looking after small packages and completing subcontractor payments for them
- Attending site and measuring works
- Preparing estimates for material costs
- Assist with writing detailed reports and analysing progress
Key Requirements of Trainee Quantity Surveyor:
- 1-2 years of Quantity Surveying experience
- Live within commutable distance to Mayfair
- Ideally degree educated/knowledge of the construction industry
