Peter Page launched in 2022 and is an exciting development in the world of luxury carpets and rugs. Due to growth, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. We honour the tradition of the craft, combining a passion for timeless design with more experimental modern techniques. From hand knotted, hand loomed and hand tufted to machine made carpets, rugs and runners, we offer an extensive selection.

We have two showrooms on Lots Road, Chelsea, beautiful light filled spaces. We are a trade only supplier looking for a committed team member to provide logistics support to the Peter Page team. The Logistics Coordinator will report into the Operations Manager, managing the day-to-day operations of logistics, shipping and sales order processing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for input of sales orders onto company database (Maximiser), making sure all details are correct

• Place client orders with our mills

• Monitor orders throughout their lifecycle

• Frequent communication with our mills to ensure they are on track with sales orders, resolving order delays

• Facilitate all shipping processes within the UK and internationally, liaising with our shipping agent for air freight and sea freight

• Work with our delivery providers to ensure all deliveries meet customer needs

• Building and maintaining good relationships with both external and internal stakeholders

• Work within the operations team and suggest potential improvements to help efficiency of the operations team • Work collaboratively with the sales team to keep that abreast of order information

• Maintain relationships with our warehousing partners, fitting teams, mills and shipping partners

• Taking appropriate action to maximise customer service in line with business targets

• Stock rug management

• General showroom/office duties, including helping the team with rug flipping in the showroom, unpacking/packing of orders

Requirements:

• You must possess excellent communication skills given this role will liaise heavily with cross functional teams and customers

• Exceptional organisational skills

• Computer literate

• Experience of successfully working as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail

• Confidence on the phone

• Works well in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working within the interior, fabric or furnishing world or a related field would be desirable but not essential

• Professional attitude with a desire to learn

• Previous experience in a administration, logistics or operations

Salary: Competitive depending on experience.

Place of work: This role would be based in our office in Chelsea Wharf.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
