Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust based in London to recruit a Duty Engineer who will be responsible for providing 24/7 technical support alongside a team of Engineers.  

Salary: £41K per annum  Location: London

Shift patterns that cover Monday – Sunday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial response, triage and support for the resolution of technical issues including problem identification and resolution 
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and checking of critical systems to resolve issues before they escalate to the point of impacting service quality
  • Investigate and resolve potential complex technical issues
  • Manage sensitive data, including user account information
  • Analyse, investigate and resolve radio, telephony, voice recording and network related issues in accordance with standard guidelines
  • Liaise with external suppliers for hardware maintenance and repair of equipment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hands on experience of managing multiple incidents and user escalations on a busy service desk  
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Active Directory
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware faults (PCs, peripherals and Audio Visual technologies)
  • Experience of building and deploying equipment and supporting end users
