Media Librarian (LTO Archiving) London to £40k
Have you got a data centric mindset combined with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills?
You could be progressing your career as a Media Librarian at a really cool media technology company that product large scale graphics and video content used by huge global stars at live concerts and venues across the globe e.g. U2 and the 360 Sphere in Las Vegas.
The company produced 3.5 petabytes of data last year and is now embarking on archiving that data on to LTO (Liner Tape-Open), as a Media Librarian you will be instrumental in carrying this out. You'll collaborate with designers to understand their requirements and catalogue and transform the data to LTO, organising, logging and archiving project files across multiple platforms and storage systems including managing media on hard drives, creating backups and tracking files.
Longer term you'll help the company to shape their data management strategies, initially you'll be required to also undertake some basic IT support tasks too.

You'll join a friendly and creative team, based in the London Bridge office on a fulltime basis.
About you:
- You have a data centric mindset with advanced organisation and presentation skills
- You have experience with digital archiving, media library management and media asset management and file organisation
- You're highly proficient with office computer systems and basic networks
- It would be beneficial to have experience with one of the following: Deadline renderer, Unreal Engine, Notch, LTO tape archival, Adobe Suite, Cinema 4D
- You're degree educated in a relevant discipline
