Job Title: Senior Lettings Negotiator

Location: North London

Earnings:

  • £25,000 - £32,000 basic salary + commission + car allowance

  • OTE £65,000 with potential for even more!

Hours:

  • 5-Day Working Week

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm

  • Saturday: 10am - 4pm

  • Weekend Availability required (Alternate Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities for a Senior Lettings Negotiator:

  • Property Valuations: Be the expert in providing accurate and persuasive rental valuations, advising landlords on achievable rental income, market conditions, and why they should list their property.

  • Client Acquisition: Build and nurture relationships with landlords, investors, and property owners to secure new lettings instructions and help grow the portfolio.

  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of the curve with in-depth knowledge of the North London property market, especially areas like Islington, Angel, Hackney, Dalston, and beyond, providing strategic advice and insights.

  • Business Development: Seek out new business opportunities, from off-market properties to areas for growth, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.

  • Training & Team Support: As you move towards a managerial role, you’ll take on the responsibility of mentoring junior staff and contributing to the development of the team.

  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all lettings transactions are fully compliant with legal requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of client service.

Skills & Experience for a Senior Lettings Negotiator:

  • Valuation Expertise: You have 1 year of lettings or property valuation experience, with a record of securing new instructions is an advantage.

  • Local Market Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of the North London lettings market, especially in Islington and the surrounding areas.

  • Relationship Management: You’re skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

  • Leadership Potential: You’re eager to take on managerial responsibilities and support the growth of your team.

  • Target-Oriented: You thrive in a target-driven environment, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.

  • Compliance Knowledge: You’re familiar with lettings legislation, health and safety standards, and property management best practices.

  • Full, Clean UK Driving Licence: Required for property valuations and client meetings. (Don’t have a car? No problem - car allowance available if you drive.)
