My client is a trusted name in Property and Lettings Management. They work closely with estate agencies to manage tenancies, handle deposits, and oversee block properties, ensuring the smooth operation of common areas in large flats. As their valued Lettings Administrator prepares to relocate, they are seeking an experienced professional to take on this pivotal role in our team.

The Role

As a Lettings Administrator, you will oversee all aspects of tenancy management, supporting their growing portfolio of properties, including modern new builds and HMOs. This stand-alone role requires someone who can work independently, with high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing 100 active tenancies, including a portfolio of 60 HMOs
  • Liaising with estate agents to source tenants
  • Handling all aspects of tenancy management, including referencing, contracts, and rent collection
  • Preparing landlord statements and managing deposits
  • Collaborating with agents and service providers to ensure smooth operations
  • Using Excel for day-to-day tasks and Decorus for tenancy management
  • Conducting property inspections as required
  • Organising landlord statements and invoices
  • Working with helptomove to handle utility contracts and bill management for new tenants
  • Participating in an on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends) for escalations

What We're Looking ForWe need someone with current experience in lettings administration, ideally within an estate agency environment. You'll be comfortable with managing a busy portfolio, handling contracts, and picking up the phone when needed. Attention to detail, independence, and pride in your work are key traits for success in this role.
