Real Estate Solicitor (Associate) sought for Legal 500 Commercial Development and Investment department of International law firm.

The Opportunity

We are partnered with a leading International law firm who boast one of the largest Real Estate practices in the UK.

Our client is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor, Associate level (2-3 PQE), to join their Legal 500 Top Tier ranked Commercial Development and Investment department.

The department have delivered on numerous high profile, market leading projects. They advise pension funds, overseas investors, private equity, developers and government bodies investing and developing commercial and mixed-use real estate.

The successful Real Estate Solicitor will work alongside talented Partners, Principals and Senior Associates. Duties will include:

  • Assisting on acquisitions and disposals of investment assets;
  • Working with the team on redevelopment projects;
  • Lettings and pre-lettings and asset management work;
  • Drafting and negotiating associated property documents (e.g. side letters, conditional and unconditional agreements for lease/surrender, options, deeds of variation, licences to assign, alterations, underlet etc.);
  • Working on acquisitions acquired by way of joint venture and share purchase;
  • Funding: carrying out title investigation, searches, enquiries, drafting and negotiating Certificates of Title, managing the process and CPs on portfolio financing with other colleagues and other firms;
  • Business development, including delivering client training and other value add elements of client relationship building.

Required Experience

Our client is seeking a technically strong Real Estate Solicitor with 2-3 years' PQE in Real Estate Development and Investment.

The successful applicant must have worked in a recognised Real Estate department of a Top Tier law firm.

The successful applicant will have excellent academics.
