Relationship Director - Real Estate - Development Finance

Up to £80,000 + Bonuses + Dental + Life Insurance + Health Insurance

I am currently on the search for a Relationship Director in development finance real estate that typically works within a financial institution, bank, or specialist lender, focusing on funding real estate development projects. This role involves managing client relationships, structuring financial deals, and ensuring projects are adequately funded while mitigating risks.Key Responsibilities for the Relationship Director - Real Estate role:

  • Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain relationships with property developers, investors, and key stakeholders.
  • Deal Structuring & Financing - Assess funding requirements and structure bespoke financial solutions for development projects.
  • Risk Assessment & Due Diligence - Evaluate project feasibility, market conditions, and borrower credibility to mitigate financial risk.
  • Market & Sector Analysis - Stay updated on real estate trends, regulations, and economic conditions affecting development finance.
  • & Closing Deals - Work with legal, credit, and compliance teams to finalize loan agreements.
  • Portfolio & Risk Management - Monitor funded projects to ensure compliance with loan terms and successful project completion.

Required Skills & Experience for the Relationship Director - Real Estate role:

• Strong background in real estate finance, banking, or private equity• Experience in structured finance, bridging loans, and mezzanine funding• Excellent relationship management and business development skills• Knowledge of property development, planning laws, and construction finance• Analytical skills for credit assessment and risk evaluation
